In 2014, 2MHost partnered with Site.pro to provide all our clients with a free premium website builder, conveniently available through cPanel.
Earlier this year, we introduced siteSPARK — our in-house website builder — designed to offer a simpler, cleaner, and more focused experience. Although siteSPARK is still in beta, client feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
In March 2025, we marked the legacy Site.pro builder as deprecated and began recommending clients transition to siteSPARK. While most users have successfully switched, some continue to use the legacy builder.
To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, we’ve decided not to discontinue the legacy builder entirely. Instead, it will remain available under Site.pro’s free tier, giving clients the option to contract directly with Site.pro if they wish to continue using premium features.
This change will take effect on December 20, 2025.
What will happen on December 20, 2025?
- Our contract with Site.pro will officially end.
- The website builder in cPanel will revert to Site.pro’s free tier — meaning premium features will be disabled. You can compare free and paid site.pro plans here. For example: Site.pro’s free tier allows only three menu items. If your current website includes four, the fourth item will be disabled in the editor and marked with a “premium” icon.
- If you wish to continue using the premium features, you can sign up directly with Site.pro for a paid plan.
My website was built with Site.pro — what will happen to it?
- Your published website will remain live and unaffected.
- Only the editor will switch to Site.pro’s free tier.
- You will still be able to make edits using free-tier features, but premium features will become inactive unless you upgrade with Site.pro directly.
Can 2MHost help me move my site from Site.pro to siteSPARK?
Unfortunately, Site.pro and siteSPARK use different technologies, so there’s no automated migration process.
However, you can test siteSPARK anytime. If you like it, you can rebuild your website within siteSPARK, preview it, and once it’s ready, publish it to replace your old Site.pro-based site.
This approach lets you work at your own pace without interrupting your live website.
